Website changelog

All notable changes to this product are documented here. The format is based on Keep a Changelog, and this product adheres to Semantic Versioning.

  • Page-specific social preview artwork and static Open Graph/Twitter metadata for the homepage, journal, founders’ thesis and careers pages, with configurable public base URLs.

  • Shared dismissible announcement banner above navigation.

  • Web-optimized mobility card video, SME and industrial photography, and a KAAG highlight alongside the mobility benefits.

  • V1 share preview cards and marketing-page recognition in runtime probes, canvas audits and share-image generation, so public website pages are validated instead of skipped as placeholders.

  • Original two-tone Rechaj brand favicon across homepage, blog, article, careers and role pages.

  • Dedicated careers page with mission-led brand artwork, areas of work and a prefilled email open application; added Careers navigation across homepage and blog, and a separate Careers flow entry. Includes the user-supplied Regional Energy Infrastructure Lead title, a role detail page and draft role copy for review.

  • Subtle checked grid behind the progress numbers on cream, matching the site’s existing pattern language.

  • Blog index and founders’ article layout inspired by the supplied Moniepoint reference, with Osita, David and Jamiu’s shared byline, draft article copy, reading progress, contents navigation and copy-link control. Added Blog links in the homepage header and footer.

  • Original outlined green and lime brand shapes along the footer, network and impact section edges, matching the existing website reference.

  • Impact-number section inspired by Wunder’s oversized statistics strip, using the three existing published Rechaj figures with a source link, responsive layout and footer navigation.

  • Subtle hero-style grid patterns in the mission and SDG sections, plus cropped brand-angle accents on the impact panel, with lighter mobile treatments.

  • Compact “Backed by” section with official Ventures Platform, Novastar Ventures, E3 Capital, Equator and Kaleo Ventures logos in monochrome forest on cream, with responsive layout and investor links.

  • Native scroll-driven switching for the three network panels, with a pinned desktop stage, reverse scrolling, working tab navigation and responsive/reduced-motion fallbacks.

  • Original station–road–home mobility animation from the existing website source, displayed beside the mobility explanation with pause/play control, offscreen freezing and a reduced-motion still.

  • Compact SDG contribution section after the impact story, covering Goals 7, 8, 11 and 13 with responsive layout and a link to the UN goals directory.

  • Website redesign flow and starting placeholder canvas, enabling the website’s Flows action in the product catalog.

  • Website redesign project setup on 2026-09-13: project overview, initial brief, page inventory and folders for screens, prototypes and attachments.

  • Source-based inventory of the existing homepage, privacy page and shared components.

  • Refined the distributed-energy story, founders’ manifesto and Battery as a Service copy; marked SMEs and Industry as planned expansion.

  • Updated the impact marquee to five owner-supplied headline estimates in USD and centered SDG cards on mobile.

  • Restored the original forest-green network section and its cream text, green controls, and green/yellow story cards at the user’s request.

  • Changed the green network section’s graphic accents, action circles and active-tab rule to Rechaj electric yellow.

  • Switched the network story to the selected bright green background with forest text, tabs and CTAs, plus reversed forest story cards across all three states.

  • Replaced the favicon with the user-supplied circular green icon SVG, unchanged, across all website pages.

  • Matched “Backed by” to the bright green impact panel shown in the user’s reference.

  • Changed “Backed by” to pale brand green, retaining forest logos and compact spacing.

  • Removed the source caption beneath the progress marquee, retaining metric provenance in design documentation.

  • Switched “Backed by” to brand electric yellow with forest logos and heading.

  • Matched the “Backed by” strip to the forest footer, with cream investor logos, heading and focus indicators.

  • Removed the impact marquee play/pause button; motion now runs automatically only in view and pauses offscreen or in a hidden tab, while respecting reduced-motion settings.

  • Restored the impact numbers marquee to cream with dark numbers, labels and controls.

  • Set the impact story’s text panel to bright Rechaj green, with forest typography, a dark CTA and subdued angular motifs beside the street photograph.

  • Replaced the impact section’s worker cutout and green backdrop with the supplied Nigerian street photograph, cropped around the road and tricycles.

  • Background option 3: dark forest impact marquee with light typography, cream SDGs and pale mint investors.

  • Background option 2: pale mint (#E3FCE7) for the impact marquee, with brand cream retained for SDGs and investors.

  • Background option 1: unified the impact marquee, SDGs and investor strip on brand cream, keeping their existing spacing and fine rules.

  • Impact figures now form a continuous horizontal marquee like Wunder’s, with pause/play, offscreen pausing and a static reduced-motion fallback.

  • Reduced investor logos further to 112px maximum width on desktop, with a smaller heading and tighter section padding and logo rows on desktop and mobile.

  • Swapped section backgrounds: SDGs now use white, while “Backed by” uses brand cream.

  • Changed the “Backed by” section background to white, retaining the forest-green logos.

  • Replaced the closing contact banner with a careers invitation, “Build what powers progress.” General contact links still open the existing team email. Careers URL pending.

  • Restored the previous homepage section order at the user’s request: the green statement strip follows the video, and investor backing follows the SDGs before contact.

  • Removed retrofitting and vehicle-conversion messaging from the mobility copy; the first mobility step now focuses on battery energy for the working day.

  • Replaced SDG number circles with the four SDG pictogram assets in a monochrome forest-and-white treatment. Switched the section to the website’s light cream background.

  • Made the wider productive-energy mission explicit in the hero and mission section. Added a dedicated mobility explanation using rechaj.com, linked from the header, network panel and footer. Updated contact links to the live website’s team@rechaj.co address.

  • Rewrote the homepage from the supplied Rechaj Positioning Memo (2026), leading with “Powering Africa at work.” Updated network panels, energy model, impact story, contact invitation and footer; distinguished future expansion from the commercial-mobility starting point.

  • Replaced the placeholder with the first responsive homepage frame: editorial hero, existing Rechaj video, three solution panels, process, company story, contact and oversized footer wordmark.

  • Added mobile navigation, keyboard-operated solution tabs, video controls and reduced-motion support.

  • Recorded the user-selected Wunder Power and Base Power reference direction and supplied brand guardrails.

  • Catalog and sidebar label updated to Rechaj Website, with a description of the redesign workspace.

  • Product design guidance prepared for responsive website work.

  • Replaced the generic architecture stub with the inspected website implementation structure.

  • Careers invitation section, at the user’s request.

  • Standalone “Our energy model” section and its footer link, at the user’s request.

  • Network scroll story now uses the available vertical space on large screens, with roomier spacing, wider columns and larger typography instead of the compact laptop layout.
  • Oversized footer wordmark uses muted forest green for subtle contrast against the footer background.
